My little Nephew, Now 15 yrs old , loved Canadian Tire money! In fact, all our family members would always save it up for him and put stacks of it in with his birthday presents. He actually liked the Canadian Tire Money more than the presents! LOL !

I found a 50 Cent CT Bill in one of my boxes the other day! I threw it in my nephews christmas present as a joke!

August 4th.2005 Our Wedding

Sept. 19th Sent AOS

Sept 28th recieved NOA for AOS

Nov.05/05 recieved Biometrics letter

Nov.17th Biometrics Appt.

Nov. 22nd. AP Approved

Nov. 25th/05 recieved EAD card

Nov.30th. recieved AP Papers in mail

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

Oh thank God. I thought it was gone forever. That was my entire life savings. I was going to purchase some hotels for my properties on Boardwalk and Park Place, but then I was sent directly to jail without passing go and I lost track of it after that. Emancipation, I'll trade you free rent whenever you land on my properties if you give me the number of the guy to call. Thanks a lot.

OK...I just wanna know if you actually ate all the brocolli?

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

I love Canadian Tire.

What I remember most is the SMELL of the store. A mixture of rubber, and something...

I have been teased for years when one year I mentioned how much I love the smell of a Canadian Tire Store...some people screwed up their faces at me, and said..huh? Others reflected a moment and said...hey....yeah... I think I know what you're talking about!

Try it sometime...when you've been in the US for awhile, and you go back "home" go into a Canadian Tire store, with your eyes closed...and enjoy the aroma...

I've yet to find any store that smells the same here and I miss that smell. :crying:

I think I did miss this Carla, probably because it was at the end of a thread page.

I'm just thinking about this and think I might have noticed this at different times, I do know exactly the smell you are talking about, so I must! One thing I have noticed also is that Canadian tire makes my eyes dry, maybe they are pumping in that rubbery smell through the ventilation system :blink:
