Ok so every time I come onto visajourney.com NOT any other sites... I get MSN messenger pop up prompt.. but.. it's in Spanish!! It says

"¡Bienvenido a Comunidades MSN! Inicie una sesión con su cuenta Passport."

Does anyone else get this? I have a regular MSN messenger in English.. but nothing this weird has happend.

Happening to me too and we have spyware, anti pop up thingys, firewall and what not. Any idea of the origin?

well if it's a spyware thingie like Rich thinks...have any of you tried running a scan on your spyware software and getting rid of the nasties?

I don't like the idea of someone trolling around here with spyware...if that's happening...and if it is, the Captain really needs to know about it.

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

I will look into it. As a note, we do NOT use pop-ups here under any circumstances. All adds should be contextual. Although we prohibit html in signatures it is possible someone found a way (probably on accident) to put something in a signature to makre this happen. This is what I will need from everyone to help: When you get something wierd... make a list of all the people on the page who have posts and signatures. We can track it down that way. :) Post your results here and we will cross reference. As a note, I do not get any pop-ups and I do have msn messenger installed.

i have tried to pay attention more to when it actually pops up... it popped up on me twice yesterday... and only when i was on vj

haven't seen it today tho

If you can reproduce it please post the url of the place you were viewing and I will try and figure it out. It has to be a member that did this without knowing it... The only use of passport would be if we used that as our login (which we do not).

I have'nt seen it today either!!..but it looks exactly like the mns net passport box, only tis in Mexican!!

I have a feeling the offending signature may have been deleted, if that was in fact the problem. I went back poking around through a bunch of the threads I was in this morning, when it kept popping up, and now - nothing.

Hopefully problem solved!

After seeing that thread and knowing it was in spanish I think it was roxio (and it looks to be a total accident). I removed some things from the signature that were causing it I believe :): The code was:
