How did the original poster's remarks warrant the scathing remarks that have been flung her way? They are insults because the only thing that the person could come up with was an argumentum ad hominem to dispute the initial statement.

The scathing remarks were made a while back and from several different posters, not you.

I do, however, feel like your post in return to her was rather condescending in tone. That's all I was pointing out. I apologize if you do not see it that way, but you must understand that it appears that way from my totally unbiased eyes.

I understand her point of view. The original poster made some rather silly statements, like the used car one. However, you can point that out without trying to utterly discredit her as an individual. Do you understand where I am coming from?

Trust me i dont think anyone holds you high at all, get off your high horse, she did not personally attack the OP, you came back with an attack on HER, and now your trying to clear yourself of it by pointing the neverending finger at HER. get a grip and NO you dont understand her point of view, and your still arguing about it, bc you cant stand being wrong and called out on it.
