I want to find out how the FINGERPRINT PROCESS is handled in different countries.

Usually, your SO will go through the interview and if they pass the interview, they get their fingerprints scanned for final Administrative Processing (AP).

So, please VJ'ers, can you please post the following info???

1) Please tell me what the Consulate Officer says is the wait time for fingerprint results.

2) I would also like to know how long you actually do wait for the results. (Hours, days, weeks, months?)

It would help all of us to know what kind of further delays to expect.

Thanks.

we had a name hit so all 10 fingers were taken at the consulate - CO stated a few weeks to get the result.

20 days (including weekends).

This was ONLY for fingerprint results though, if you are looking for answers on how long your AR/AP may or may not be, this wouldn't really produce any kind of insight.

Well, as far as I know, we were told 1 month for the FINGERPRINTS.
