I noticed that there is a question on the DS-156 asking "Have you ever been afflicted with a communicable disease of public health significance"

My fiance had TB about 9 years ago, should I answer yes? And if I do answer yes, is that going to create any problems with our application?

I was told in another forum that I might need a waiver for this. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

you might want to do a search within this sub-forum and see what comes up. A VJ member, kitkat, is our resident expert on waivers, but sadly I don't see her around much anymore.

Should you answer????? It is his form. He is the one that answers.

I wasn't implying that we were going to lie about it, I was just wondering if his case was something we would need to answer yes to
