I'm sorry you feel this way Boblop. VisaJourney is indeed about our many individual Visa Journeys but you need to read the immigration specific forums, not the Off Topic - which means 'not related to our visa journeys" - forum to understand the good and helpful support that VJ does offer. There are quite a number who stay in the other forums and who do not frequent OT because of its occasionally abrasive nature, but that occasional abrasiveness reflects the influence of a few and not the whole. You don't say if you have any personal visa journey of our own going on or not but I suspect that if you had, and had posted a request for help in one of the other forums, you would have received many, many replies offering you support and advice and good wishes.

Perhaps you might like to give the 'visa journey' part of VJ a try before you leave?
