But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Record albums....Wow man, I see it, too !

The 4 hours and 25 minutes one looks a bit Peter Maxx .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Do you ever doodle? :)

Is that for real?

According to one of the artists here, it is.

Weird.

I read that Philip K. ####### used to do a lot of LSD, though never when he was working. In fact, several authors I've spoken to who have tried that have said that writing under the influence of drugs or alcohol produces nothing but unintelligible garbage.

The thing that's so interesting about this is that the person under the influence always seems convinced that what he is doing is brilliant at the time and only realises it's ###### after the drug has worn off.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

That's also what I've heard. At uni we used to go to the pub and have what we thought were "intellectual discussions". What you realise is that beyond a couple of pints - the intellectual part goes down the swanny.

Drawings 4, 5, 6 & 7 are brilliant, IMO. The least successful ones were after his trip in when it began.

Fascinating. The 2 hr/35 min drawing looks like Mr Burns from The Simpsons. The 2 hr/45 min and 4 hr/25 min drawings are amazing.

My friend attended the Ontario College of Art back in the 70's. One of her profs told the class to do some drugs and bring what they produced back for marking. :o She showed me the one she did while on acid. It was a pastel of her sitting in a small dark room, but the viewpoint is from where she actually felt she was while she was under the influence..... up in the top left-hand corner of the room, looking down on herself.

Aldous Huxley did a lot of LSD and peyote. If you haven't yet, you should read Heaven and Hell and/or Doors of Perception.

Whoa :o That is trippy. I was too afraid to ever experiment with any hallucinogenics, but shaman in many cultures have used them as a door to the spiritual realm.
