For a woman like me who has been so active in the Philippines, having a good life and having the comfort of my own place, waiting for a work permit and a green card is making me impatient. I know the EAD will come first and maybe I could finally work soon but don't blame me if I say that I still have a lot of adjusting to do considering the sad weather here in Seattle and so on and so forth. I wish my husband will get me a new place away from his family. I'm used to living alone for the past decade and now here I am in a controlled place. It sucks!

And now my question is, how long is the processing of the EAD based on your experience? Thanks!

No personal experience, at the time we filed for AOS, EAD was an extra charge, so we opted not to file for EAD.

BUT the timelines are showing a steady 2 month average.

Well thats unfortunate but you chose to be with your husband and his homeland with the yucky weather and the in-laws.
