Back-to-back tunes from the master of the happy organ! (Yes, I mean you, Dave "Baby" Cortez!)

Perfect songs to groove by while holding a refreshing G&T! (You may want to inform your neighbors of the loud music to come! Better yet, invite them over to groove with you!!)

Love,

(F) Joyce (F)

Due to an embarrassing personal incident, I can confirm that yes, edible underwear melts in a fondue pot. Please note you should remove them from your person first. Whoever that person may be.

Goodness! Thanks for the practical advice! Sometimes I think these days, we're encouraged to follow our emotions, and time-honored practicality just flies out the window! That said, I'm known to be emotional from time to time--especially when Tupperware is concerned! I'm also livid when I think about a former band mate who stole my favorite fondue pot back in 1984. Louise, if you're reading this, it's not too late to bring it back! Until then, I will wish upon you a lifetime of bad nondairy supermarket-brand whipped topping, and souffles that deflate at the absolute last minute, just as your guests are arriving!!!

And Valerie, I'm sure the incident wasn't embarrassing! I bet you meant to say empowering!

Love,

(F) Joyce (F)

Unfortunately, Louise, Thelma, and the fondue pot you refer to all went over a cliff in a blaze of smoke and fire in 1991. It was quite stupendous. You may have caught it at your local theater. I suggest you buy yourself a new fondue pot.

Goodness! That simply can't be true! They had a falling out in 1987 over whether to put cantaloupe or honeydew melon pieces in the Jell-O, and haven't spoken since!

That enameled orange finish just says "family and friends, gather round"

Well, there's an awful lot of straight hair at that gathering, but kudos for the sweaters! (I hope they're synthetic!)

Goodness!

I'd like to share with you something that is nothing short of a miracle! As many of you know, I was concerned and disheartened because the beautiful orange fondue pot that had graced my signature for more than two years disappeared without a trace! Where did it go, you ask? I can only imagine! I suspect that the sinister forces around Pampered Chef may be involved, but I don't want to sound paranoid! (Or are they really out to get me? Tee hee! It may be time for Quaaludes!)

Anyhoo, as you may have noticed, I found another fondue pot even more beautiful--and slightly larger--than the original. Not only that, but it has a pattern of what I call a Pope hats design that's bordering on the ultimate in groovy. Who would have thought that such splendor could come out of the Vatican? I've always thought that their garments are a little behind the times, but hey, not everyone can be on the cutting edge!

So, about the miracle. I'm sure that many of you eagle-eyed Joyce fans noticed that the Cool Whip design to the left of the fondue pot used to look something like the Cool Whip tub label. Well, right around the time I found the new and groovy--and larger--fondue pot, the Cool Whip logo turned into--A PLATE!! I didn't shop around for a new Cool Whip image, it just magically transformed into a plate! Now, I've never been a religious person, except when it comes to groovy hat design, but I think I might just change my mind! I have truly been touched by an otherworldly force!

Any thoughts?

Love,

(F) Joyce (F)

p.s. I don't normally have Cool Whip on Thursdays, but today I just might make an exception!!!
