Dear Joyce,

I am posting this question for a friend. It is NOT ME who I am talking about, mmm'kay?

The thing is, this friend has read all the Twilight series books and errr... well... she seems to be having a little bit of trouble letting go of the main character. My friend is, well, obsessed. She says "well, he is a vampire, so he is not real, and he is really 90 years old, NOT 17" while she giggles like a little teenager and cracks her knuckles. -_-

I fear for the stability of her marriage to one certain USC of German descent (not MY husband of course, since this is not me we are talking about -- but I already said that right? This is NOT ME). She has all these really naughty thoughts about the vampire boy, and it troubles me... I mean, her.

What should I do... I mean, what should I tell my friend she should do???

Thanks, Mrs It's Not Me

Goodness! Well, that sounds like a complex situation, but there's a very simple solution: Why not tell your friend to get her husband some vampire fangs? While they're having a romantic interlude, she can imagine he's that young vampire! There's nothing wrong with a little role-play! Afterward, you could go out for ice cream and bring your own marshmallows!

Love,

(F) Joyce (F)

Hater -_-

Sister Len, Brother Almaty could be envious or even jealous.

I know he is... he has repeatedly asked me to show up for therapy in vampire outfit... and gets pissed that I reserve that for partying with Bosco <_<

Dear Joyce,

I was reminded this morning of the lovely Linda Carter, aka Wonder Woman. I also recalled that during my very polyester childhood I possessed a Wonder Woman outfit my mom made for me. Said outfit was unveiled during my birthday; which was a roller derby party in costumes . Mine was, undoubtedly, the best outfit (exception made of Chichi Ruvalcaba y Corcuera; who just HAD to dress like freaking Cinderella, the b1tch  ) but the party was a success. :) --- and Chichi's tiara was mysteriously run over by Susanita Gonzalez's expert skates

unreleasedWW2.jpg

Problem is, I find myself thinking about the outfit and its rayon/nylon/spandex blessings. Do you think I should retake the Oath of the League of Justice and wander the Seattle Streets with a new Wonder woman outfit? Or would it be too much? How could I incorporate the motifs into my business appearance (lest face it, i do have a tendency to dress like WW's alter ego, Diana Prince)

As always, I am indebted to you for the guidance and wisdom.

Sincerely, "beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, stronger than Hercules, and swifter than Hermes" :)

Goodness! Those glasses are absolutely stunning!

To answer your question, you should certainly take your Wonder Woman get-up to the streets. I've always been an admirer of Lynda Carter's penchant for the synthetic. I even got to tell her so in 1979! Well, I think it was her.

Regarding incorporating Ms. Carter's fabulous style into your business attire: Why incorporate at all? Just suit up in those flashy, groovy threads and bust on through that office door! Your colleagues will know that you mean business!

Love,

(F) Joyce (F)
