Dear Joyce,

I was recently informed that Velveeta is not only not cheese, but isn't even classified as processed cheese food! :o As far as foods go, I rank Velveeta right up there with Cool Whip! It melts so nicely for fondue. I simply cannot extol it virtues enough! How should I respond to such blasphemous assertions??

Love,

Viva-Velveeta

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Interesting, Dean. Of the two you cited above, I am inclined to believe that it's Rush. e just wants all the Velveeta for his fatass.

I can't wait to see what our beloved Joyce's take on this critical issue is.

 I heard from a very reliable source that Rush was once a liberal, hanging out outside Studio 54 and begging to get in and be able to sing his praises to Joyce, from who he held a very unhealthy crush. He was denied entry, and since then has it in for all the groovy things in life :o

Dear Viva-Velveeta,

Goodness! Of course Velveeta isn't cheese! Nor is it cheese food! (*shudder*) Why, it's in its own delectable category: processed cheese product! I like to call it cheesy ambrosia loveliness! You can bet that Velveeta is the foundational ingredient in nearly all my fondues. I don't know one self-respecting fondue maven who uses anything but! Also, might I suggest pulverized Quaaludes as a great fondue mix-in for your next party! I find that my Avon sales increase dramatically after this fun addition!

Love,

Goodness! I can't say I remember a Rush from Studio 54, although I do remember a group of stylish men talking about a Rusty who enjoyed doing very unusual tricks with donuts and Vaseline in the men's room. I have to admit my memory is a little hazy, though! (*giggle!!!*)
