I tried looking for him, but there are just so many strip clubs and dive bars in Montreal, and well, how fat is he? I kept asking and showing a photo of his cat with the beer and the remote...

Nudie photos might be toooo frightening.

Please resist.

BH45 already won the photos in the recipe thread

I have a perogies recipe but out of fear for what might be sent to my inbox, I'm keeping it to myself until the threat of naked pics is withdrawn

met summer 1999, summer 2000 hooked up-whoo hoo summer fling

summer fling failed to fizzle, married 2003

I-130 mailed 12/15/03

4/1/04 no word from NE contacted senators office, app found

NOA1 4/13/04

Gave up on ridiculously long US process-started Canadian

12/4/04 submitted app

LSS app returned because of missed signatures, lost in transit, resubmitted in June

9/28/05 landed, yippie

10/4/05 fly back to US to "finish up Master's" lose mind and switch to PhD

Hey you! The recipe is in the recipe thread already.

This is ridiculous.

Page two and counting.

We are having a party and the guest of honour is not even here.

The incestuousness of it all....

I love it.

Just to add:

the roads are super bad over here. I do hope Mumsie and parents are all okay, and maybe even bunking down in a cheesy motel between Quebec and Ontario for the night. It has not stopped snowing and the roads are slippery (ice coated due to the ccccold). Just what we needed: more snow. It has been a bit nightmarish.

So if we were all in the same room is this the part where a few people have fallen asleep in their chairs, some have gone home and the rest wandered out to the kitchen?

I only answers to the titles, Idol of Millions or Il Doofus.

I just got in and as soon as I compose my thoughts (great now we've got to wait twenty years  ), I'll post my full review shortly. For the record Mom was approved, the movie guy stated, "you are eligible to apply for a visa." I thought #######, she already applied for alien residence status, didn't she? Does she get the damn green card or not? He clarified his position. My father wasn't so lucky, he's been set down for "administrative processing." We'll see what happens. The roads are crazy and the streets around the consulate are murder though in Quebec drivers don't believe in giving extra space in poor roads conditions. There was a pretty good chance that that lil' Yaris might becoming a rolling sepulchre of death. Seriously scary sh*t. Some maniac clipped the Yaris but only folded the mirror (fortunately, no damage) before he took off like a bat out of Hell up Rue Rene Levesque. I'll give this to lil' bro, there is no one who can drive in bad weather conditions like him (he put in the full 1000+ kms @120-140km/h). Blizzards in Maine, no problem. White out outside of Brockville, no problem. He wasn't thrilled about the streets in Montreal ("don't they plow the streets here?) and driving a Yaris ("that truck is going to crush us'). We made it, that's all that counts.

BTW, I brought along a secret weapon for good measure (the movie guy seemed to like it and it seemed appropriate, it's the same model Reagan used at his 2nd inauguration):

I guess the others are still in the kitchen, but congrats for your Mom, hopefully your Dad's AP won't take too awfully long. The pen was a very nice touch I must say.

The driving sounds just awful, don't envy you that one bit. I wouldn't have driven it!
