My mom is hard understand now for sure, i do work so my daughter cks on here, but she still live alone. First i dont do anything right, no matter what it is, her dr didnt write she need xray down so the people couldnt schedule until dr came back...well i SHOULD HAVE watch dr and be sure he did it right ha.....my daughter dont call her...well we wonder what she is doing if she dont call....no we dont its none of our business what she is doing ha...no one does anything to help her.........she dont feel good.......the xray for her foot isnt going fix her old knees to make them well.........vicious circle

Well since i am only child i catch it all, the thing is i dont know when to draw the line, she says she sick, well we have had her tested for years and they find nothing so what are we supposed to do ignore??? She says when she gets up she can do nothing for herself, dress, food, etc and she needs help....someone will go there and she has done everyting so again how do we know....she has a nurse service come in help with the bath since she dont need to do alone....last week she made a point to get up early to do before the lady comes......then we say we will chg the woman schedule to fit getting up earlier....then she comes back with........i cant possibly get up thta early....well u did mange to, to beat the woman and show u WILL do it alone.... she still knows most things, she can still pay few of her bills, she knows everyone and she can cook her food IF SHE WOULD...we are trying to actually push her some (but watching) the longer she can do alone and stay there the better but again how do u know when enough is enough and do something before injury ...put that on top of work, home, immigration...its not easy.....thats why i ask u to use your hotline for me

Brni, I lived with and/or next door to my grandparents for a long time while my grandfather had alzheimers and my grandma was blind. It was so so difficult but in many ways it also held a lot of lessons and blessings . I am sure you struggle everyday but try to see the silver lining in the clouds!

Brni sounds like my 35 year old friend. She complained for a long time something was wrong but the doctors could never find anything wrong with her. Just this year, finally, they diagnosed her with fibromyalgia.

I know how you feel

I had to place my 93 year old Mom ( living in Germany by herself ) in a care facility in April. I have no family to help me, I am it.

The decision of when and where was very difficult to deal with, especially all the way from the US.

I somehow made it with God's help.

I knew that when she walked to the neighbors asking where I was that it was time. She has dementia.

She also had fallen and burned food.

She refused and cried about going to a home for so long but this time it had to be done.

This month I am knee deep in dealing with the sale of her house and wondering what to do with the stuff inside, I will have to fly to Germany in the next couple of weeks and work myself through the maze of it all.

I don't have the answers, I don't even barely know the questions and where to go for help.

It is difficult when we become the parents and our parents become like children and now we are supposed to take over and yet they resist.

It is insanity to do it all from another country long distance.

I went through very painful massage treatments, deep tissue ( an understatement ! ).

Through massage and lots of prayer God healed me and I was so impressed with the treatment that I became a Massage Therapist

myself.

I am pain free and take no meds anymore.

Please tell your friend to find a very good massage Therapist who does deep tissue and tell her to hang in there and she will get better.

It may take months or a couple years, but if she continues she will improve !

Seriously? Do you mind if my friend talks to you? I haven't heard of anyone every cured of it before. She's been reading all the books she can on it and we've been thinking that maybe she's exhausted her western medicine and needs to seek alternative treatments. Also she is a Christian.
