Are you a diabetic? Sometimes it is inherited . Sometimes it is what you eat, but I do not see you eating greasy, artery clogging foods. Maybe you can control it through diet and get off those pills??

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

No , not diabetic.. - after my hysterectomy I am taking a hormone pills (HRT) or else I am having a hard time with hot flashes..I am 44 but feel and look like I'm worn out :lol: and with all these pills I feel like I am tired taking them lol..I have to maintain my blood pressure pills too , the doctor said its my forever pills.. :angry: I hate it but I have no choice hehe..sometimes when I can't swallow the pills I take a week or two resting away from all that..which drives my hubby mad!! :lol:

I am not much into greasy and frying..and the three of us is really serious about the diet and working out..its a good thing that Gary get me a set of bowflex for starter..I've been baking and steamed our food also for a week now...we will in full blast next month and hoping we make it. We are getting big and heavy :blush:

My Dear Luz, I am way older than you, and I have not taken any pills for the change. It is what it is, and I think your Doctor is nuts for not directing you to herbs or some holistic alternative. It is my belief that those pills are dangerous. Please look into a more natural approach. I love you too much to see you harmed in any way.

As far as your blood pressure, I do not have your medical records so I will not advise.

The first prescription that the doctor gave me has a side effect....I am having a hard time to breathe , throat and mouth get dry that force me to cough..I tell that to Gary but he didn't listen to me..he thought that I just make an excuse for not taking pills..hehehe....I have to endure all that till I am done with the prescription..I maybe wrong and not sure if its the pills that cause all that..I have my appointment last week and tell him about what I feel and he just said ''ah ok..that pills really can cause all that, I will change and prescribe you a new one''DUH!!.. :lol:

Anyways, so far so good now..just go nuts with Gary's insomnia..can't sleep when I know someone still up around the house.. :D

You mean your older than me?..sounds like your younger with all your outlook in life :thumbs: ..your very positive person..

Where is Miss V, Natty , Miss O? hehe..just miss them.

have you heard from Sol , Eau..Khuram..those were the days..u know..

Luz, You do not have to take that #######! You need to educate your dear husband because he is very smart and hopefully he will open his mind and realize these pills are causing you side effects. Good Lord, woman! This is scary. You can get other opinions from different doctors.

K is going to get his wife very soon as they finally have their visa. Sol, Eau...I dunno. O is still here, and MissV just got a new job, but she will be here next week. Natty should be along any time now. He works during the day.

I miss those days, too. It was nice to see Stacey posting in here. She is a real hoot!

Good to hear about K..finally ! I hope they post pics and update us..I never see and heard sol no more..busy maybe..

Oh yeah Miss Stacey is hot and she is speak whats in her mind and her sense of humor is the best!...I am interested to meet her too!! :luv:

I may have to excuse myself for few minutes here Nag..Robin's bedtime and I will share a prayer with him..we do our rosary every night! I taught him to be always thankful and grateful for everything!

Good to hear about Lira..I always saw her Friendster profile and she blooms so beautiful ..pregnancy becomes her..Congrats with that!!

Gary get me a set of Bowflex..supposed to be a surprise for Christmas day but the they deliver it early.. :lol: :lol: ..which force him to get me more gifts so I have something to open up on Christmas day, and yay for that!!! :dance:

Eh, that sucks. I gotta work Christmas too. I am sure the friendly Iraqis have plenty of "gifts" to give us to celebrate the occasion. :whistle:
