Well i submitted my K-1 visa in the dominican republic in april and i still havent heard anything. I have almost given up on my journey but i am going to see my guy on valentines day. I dont know how much longer it is going to take but i know that i am overwhelmed and fed up. Maybe we will hear something soon but they are saying that K-1 visas are taking anywhere to a year to a year and six months possibley more. If i would of submitted mine just a week or two before it only took 3 months. That is what I get for procrastanating.

Ohh well

hope everyone's visa journey is going great

Glad to hear that your going to go and see your man. But I would be contacting someone to see what the status is of your application at the consulate/embassy. I think that is long time to not have had any contact with them. Good luck.

Mary

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
