Need for I-131 on K3

I am in the US on K3 spouse visa which is valid for 2 years. I'm in the process of applying for AOS now and wondering if I need to apply for I-131 which is a travel authorization document for exit and re-entry. I was under the impression that with K3 I can go in and out of the US as long as I have a valid K3 visa.

does anyone know for sure?

Thanks

K3 doesn't need advanced parole. It is a multiple entry visa.
