Still waiting to receive packet 3 from Montreal. NVC says they sent information to Consulate on November 21, but no news from Montreal Consulate yet. Tried calling them several times, but goes to voicemail.

While my fiancee is waiting in Toronto for packet 3 to arrive, can she get police clearance certificate and get advance appointment for medical from Dr. Seiden or Medisys?

Also does my fiancee have to mail the Police Clearance Certificate and medical exam results along with packet 3 back to Consulate with other forms, or does She take the Police Clearence Certificate and medical exam results with her when She goes to the interview?

Thanks and appreciate your reply.

Peter.

you can get the police check ahead of time, but the panel of physicians wont do the medical without the packet 3 info/case number. Med exam and police clearance is to be taken to the interview. DO NOT open the results of the medical, that is to be opened by the CO at the interview

No you dont have to wait .......get that checklist back quickly !!!!!!!!!! and then settle in for a wait. If it were me < I'd wait til the last minute for the medical......ok not the last minute literally but really close to it. and the police check can kinda wait a wee bit too , unless you have some issues that might return a problem result and/or require fingerprints, out of country clearances etc. the basic police check is pretty quick to get.

bottom line is that you dont want either to be too old, either A) at the time of interview or B) when you adjust status , otherwise ya gotsta get da new ones

Have you already collected the Long form of your birth certificate and the other documentation you need - passport pictures, passport, divorce decrees if applicable, vaccination documentation, .. etc. ? Those things might be more advantageous to start collecting at this point. I remember before getting PKG3 I was WANTING to do SOMETHING.. so I got all my documents together during this stage.. then when PKG 3 came it was just a matter of getting the medical arranged, and completed and then I was good to go!
