Does employment letter need to show Annual income?

Hi guys,

I requested for an employment letter that shows my annualized salary however, payroll manager said she can't do that because i wasnt working for them for the full year (i was employed on Sept 2007). She issued a certification of employment that shows my 4th quarter gross income of 4,800++. (((which is 19200, meeting my income requirement))). I tried to convince her to write something like "quarter gross income of 4800 or annualized income of 19200" but she said she really cant.

I expect that my W2 form will show more or less the same amount. The amount of income i intend to write on the I134 form is 19200. do you think a letter and W2 form showing the 4th quarter gross income be sufficient as proof that i meet the income requirement?

Oh, one more question: If the letter and I-134 form is signed/dated/notarized on December 2007 and if the interview is set on March 2008, will this be a cause for an A/R? I read somewhere that documents should be valid as long as they were signed and dated 1 year prior the interview. But of course, it depends on how the consul will look at the evidence.

if you're wondering why im finalizing these docs 3 or 4 months prior the interview, its because i would have to fly to dubai on january for a possible job opportunity and then i plan to fly to the philippines on february for a vacation and wait until my fiancee's interview date.

I would appreciate your insights on my case....

thank you so much

Showing only 4th quarter is fine.

My SO had a letter stating he is employed full time at $XX.XX per hour, with starting date somewhere in September 2007.

We attached two payslips to this letter and that was enough to prove his yearly income.

So, you multiply 4th quarter income by 4 = yearly income.

I expect that my W2 form will show more or less the same amount. The amount of income i intend to write on the I134 form is 19200. do you think a letter and W2 form showing the 4th quarter gross income be sufficient as proof that i meet the income requirement?
