Ok now I am jealous

We have better luck with the pc calls when he is in the UK, however. With all of the power outages and network downtimes in Nigeria, our yahoo calls and web cam conversations are always interrupted. Of course most of us know how that is....But all in all, the yahoo pc-to-pc calling feature is great.

I was just there a few months ago and it is eye opening. I honestly sent more money to his family than I spent on my own for Christmas. His was in need of food and clothes and mine would have gotten a soon to be forgotten baubble. He doens't have a computer or a land line. So the 2 years of our relationship has been text messages and phone calls. He doesn't want to use an internet cafe there because he is afriad of the keyloggers and identity theft.

I am currently using PINGO and I find it to be a nice calling card plan, but I was wondering what some of you are using, and an example of the rates. My guy is currently living in the UK, but goes back and forth to his home in Nigeria. We talk from both locations and we are sharing the expense by alternating the expense month to month.

I don't have much experience with other calling card plans or even with purchasing one-time-use card types. I would appreciate any suggestions just to get an idea whether PINGO is as cost-effective as I believe it to be....thank you

PINGO sounds like a good card I have been using African Treasure it's better than the other's I have tried... I want to try yours.

Yes, I have decided to stick with PINGO. I have been using it faithfully, and have even set it re-fill once my balance reaches $5.00 dollars. I really enjoy the much cheaper rate of calling him at his home phone and saving 4x the amount it cost to call his cell. Regardless, it is still very cheap rates. I go to the website each month and print our call record, and it is so neat and nice. I have pre-programmed on speed dial, all of his cell phone numbers (Nigerians seem to carry 2 or 3 cell phones :) and I have his home and work phone numbers programmed too on the speed dial. I have also programmed all of my family household members numbers in so that I can call him from their homes and still get the same rates. PINGO is great!
