affidavid notarized

I decided to go with a co-sponser to my interview just to be on the safe side. Apparently I was told that my affidavid of support did not need to be notarized. My co-sponser did notarize the affidavid of support and sent it to me since I am out of the country to attend the interview next week with my fiance. I just got an email from the embassy telling me that I do need to have my affidavid notarized. My qquestion is where could I have this done since I am out of the country? I appreciate any help!

Thanks

JP

You would go to the Consulate in the country you're in and pay an outragous fee for them to notorize it......I paid $30 at the Consulate in Casa to have some documents notorized this past summer.

There is *no charge* to have the affidavit of support notarized at the Consulate.

Mary may have had to pay for other documents, but there is no charge for the I-134 or I-864 when it has been requested as part of a visa application.
