HUGE MMA fan here...i wanted to get tickets to this fight sooooooooo bad but they were like $300 a person minimum so i think i'd rather pay $40 and watch it at home! lol

yah i've been to a few big time mma events- 3 ufcs-1 pride-1 vale tudo. same thing everytime (you end up watching the big screens..coz you can't see as well as you'd like..lol...ppv is the way to go.)

my picks- st. pierre by ko..his game is on a different level (maybe the best pound for pound, but IMO you gotta include an in shape bj penn & of course fedor in any pound for pound top list)

wandi (silva) by ko...i've always felt liddell was over rated (dana white has been spoon feeding him wrestlers that can't strike & feeding the hype machine for years now, rampage threw a wrench in that...& BTW i loved it, now he facing someone from the chute boxe camp...this could be ugly).

some more good news... i just got back from the philippines (last week). when i was at LAX Intl. terminal(going to the philippines) i was in the bussiness class lounge of Cathay Pacific (ticket agent comped me) (wooo! free drinks & food) & KIMO walked in. i started talking to him..(yah KIMO for real) he was on his way to a promotional event in Thailand. when i got to the Cebu..Brandon Vera (he's 1/2 filipino) was on the tv talking about training a local guy for an upcoming movie & some future mma bouts. also on the news Royce & Rickson Gracie, Don Frye & the WEC were in Manila talking to & auditioning new talent. Bodog reps & some of their fighters were in Indonesia.

so basically what this means to me is: mma is growing & growing fast in Asia.

can you imagine the 115-160 lb. meat grinders that are gonna come out of SE Asia?
