Is Anyone waiting on their Visa to be sent from MTL?

Just wondering if anyone is waiting for their Visa's to be sent back from MTL. I finally received word that mine was processed on December 14 and that it was "most likely" sent that day but of course there's nothing in the tracking. I suspect it hasn't been sent yet but curious if anyone else is waiting.

Thanks!

Misty1979 had her interview on December 6th and was tracking via the Canada Post site, it still hadn't updated even after she received it on the 12th:

Thanks guys:)

No, I managed to resist drooling all over the visa, but I did tell my sister I would lick the postman when he delivered the package. The old guy ran off before I could get my paws on him though..slippery #######

For trailmix's and my own curiousity, I checked the Canada Post website, it still says my passport is sitting in the Montreal P.O lol. Oh well, it was a nice surprise getting it earlier than what I expected:)

Thanks, I saw that one. I have no idea why Canada Post even offers tracking as a feature when it's so useless! Just gives us something else to obsess about while we're waiting!

I hear you, it is kind of redundant isn't it. I had a few parcels come via CP this past week and they were really good, sent me an email to say they had been shipped, site was updated right away with 'out for delivery' on the day it was delivered, all very civilized.

The express post mailers don't seem to get the same attention.

Not quite. I went for my interview in October and I didn't have a police clearance from New Zealand (I lived there for a year 11 years ago and didn't even consider that I would need a clearance - dumb). In MTL they told me that they would have to request the clearance directly from the US Consulate in New Zealand and that should all take about 3 weeks to get my visa. They didn't keep my passport at the interview and they finally received the clearance at the end of November and have had my passport since November 28th. And here we are - still waiting. Just hoping to get it before the end of the week so I can finally make the move down south!

Check really late at night. Mine updated that it was in the MTL post past 10pm Eastern time. Then it was delivered the next day, even though the tracking didn't update until after it had arrived. :)

So, if they processed it the 14th, mailed it on Monday, everything went wrong for a day, you should have it by Wednesday! That's my prediction, anyway, whatever that's good for
