This is what i fear most. Here Eid is Friday. I went to Layoune with Omar and his brother to get the sheep. I shopped at the souk while they did the sheep thing as I prefer to buy things.

Thanks to whomever posted about the hamams awhile back. Saved me lots of shock and embarassment. Omar asked his sister to take me to one place with private rooms and she said the work hamam and i said uh uh no way  no hamam!!!!!

Hey Yassmine (how is my nephew); jackie (hope the cat is better) charles and brnid (still trying to thaw out sorry no question mark on this comp) sarah (any new recipes) polar (honey here yet) and MK (always nice to see you around)

 I love Office Space! Especially the red stapler.

My beautiful Princessa is home from the vet. She does not have lukemia, all her blood work looks good. She has an expensive bowel movement coming compliments of a goey spoon of stuff I had to give her by smearing it on the roof of her mouth. When I left for work, she was happily purring in the sun. Ah the joy of being a pet owner. The vet thinks it is hairballs. Next, I have to schedule her butt shave.

Jackie (F)

see!!! she needs a butt shave because of the DINGLEBERRIES!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA!

I just wish each day came with presents. ;)

I still have to explain to everyone that December 25th is not Christmas for me. lol

Thanks woman (L)

why is the 25th not christmas for you?

Orthodox Christmas is January 7th.

We use a different calendar, easter is also a week apart. However not all orthodox churches observe on the 7th, ours doesn't. Back home in Jordan, they also don't observe it on the 7th. The churches made an agreement in Jordan so that all Christians could celebrate together. Instead of having the catholics celebrate one week and the orthodox another week, they agreed to celebrate christmas on the 25th and easter on the orthodox calendar (gregorian?) which is a week later than we usually celebrate in the US. Many churches have followed suit and done the same thing.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

It's my first day back at work since I flew back in from the UK on Saturday. I'm still on UK time though. I wake up around 2-3 in the morning. Ahhh. Got to work and found out my desk was moved while I was gone. That's always fun. Other than that, just another rainy day in CA.

Hey welcome back!! Hope your trip was a good one. When I read your desk had been moved I immediately thought of the character Milton from the movie "OFFICE SPACE"!!!!

Again welcome back and happy you had a safe trip!!
