From one - xx months... ;)

:o Wow. I'm impressed. People are actually receiving a GC in one month? Amazing.

Yep. I've seen a few timelines lately who got their green card approved 3 weeks (or less) after transfer to CSC.

Hi Tracy!

Hiya dev! :)

And I'm glad to say that Caladan was one of the speedy ones! :) Ours took a little longer, but no big shakes. At least we didn't have to drive 3 1/2 hours to Memphis for an interview!! Plus 2 months for USCIS to approve anything is, quite frankly, impressive!

*goes to timeline to check*

CONGRATS!

2 months is awesome, yes. ;)

It's not really the norm though, but it does happen. I'm just chiming in to say this so people don't get all hopeful at a CSC transfer, thinking they'll be approved in a month, and then get all depressed when 6 months down the line they've heard nothing. :D

Glancing at the timelines, there's been a number of relatively quick approvals lately, but there's also a significant number of cases taking around 5 or 6 months. Around two or three seems to be average, but like anything in this process, there's a lot of individual variance.

Agreed. Plus the advantage of having an interview is you have a date where you know your chances are high of walking out with an approval (assuming the FBI checks have been completed). Being at the CSC means you have no idea what timeframe you may have ahead of you. Sure, you may get a fast approval - but maybe not.

We should never hope for anything with USCIS then, if you get a quick approval, it's a nice surprise! :P

Agreed. It's great that people have had very short journeys, but it's not really the norm.

My AOS was transferred to CSC a little while back. That didn't surprise me because all of my other paperwork was previously there.

I did receive notice a few days ago that my case has been sent to the National Benefits Center.

I am assuming (unless someone can correct me) that my case will then be forwarded to the New Orleans office and I will be notified of an upcoming interview.
