Hi Guys,

I am sending my i-130 application. I live in Minnesota and according to USCIS web site , I need to send it to Chicago.

Effective December 3, 2007:

Petitioners who reside in AK, AZ, CA, CO, Guam, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MS, MT, Nebraska, NV, ND, OH, OR, SD, UT, WA, WI, or WY are encouraged to file their stand-alone Form I-130s with the Lockbox using the following address:

USCIS

P.O. Box 804625

Chicago, IL 60680-1029

I heard from a lot of people that mails from this address returned back to the sender. I think USCIS did not create it right or they put a wrong address in the web site.

( The other states are fine - they have a different PO Box (P.O. Box 804616) for them. )

What should we do? I called few times to Nebraska Service center and they mentioned that they have nothing to do with it. Offcourse.

Any idea? have any of you ever faced this kind of situation?

Those who are sending it to the address you list without the last 4 digits of the zip code are having success getting their package delivered. Someone made a typo and used the same 4 digits as for the other address.
