Louisiana DMV experience

So I went to the DMV today to take the driving test and get a Louisiana licence. Unfortunately they took one look at my passport and K-1 visa and told me I couldnt be issued with a licence until after I adjust status.

I made them double-check that this is the case then I asked about using my British licence and they said that will cover me until I get the LA licence.

Hopefully any cops that stop me will be of the same frame of mind.......... :whistle:
