Im kinda nervous but so excited at the same time. I grew up as a army brat and this is going to feel like home being back in the military, only this time as a military wife :)

He was never really big into the military thing, but he liked the Coast Guard when he read up on it and we need to do something financially and fast. Atleast with him in the military and me working, and with post housing, wed do better than we are now. :)

i was thinking more along the line of

YOU HAVE TO GO OUT -- YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK!

I love the Coast Guard! It always seemed more about saving lives than killing others.

Does he have to be a USC?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Wow, T that's great!

So what's the joining process like? Will you automatically have to move or can they put him local-ish?

he will be in NJ :( so we will be apart for 2 months while he is in basic training. Its ok, we did a year and a half for immigration, we can be strong thru this :)

after he graduates and finds out where we will be stationed, he will come home for 12 days, and the coast guard will then move us to our station. ill be going to his graduation tho :)
