I have no home :( I love oil and illegal immigrants.

Do you really love 'em? They make things cheaper alright, but remember that

even if they are not stealing our jobs right now, their (USC) children will definitely

be stealing jobs from our children.

What our children? I don't have any and neither do you.

Precisely. As educated professionals, we don't have any children, but they do.

Even if I had a child, an illegal next door would have 3 for my 1.

Yeah we've talked about maybe having a kid when conditions a...n are satisfied LOL. I don't think it'll ever happen.

We need to stop being allies with lunatic theocracies.
I disagree. Saudis have oil and our access to oil is a helluva lot more vital than some loser Saudi chicks right to not be raped.
Eh, in Canadian tar-sands, there is about quintuple the oil reserve of entire Muddle East.

Plus, a heckuvalotta clean coal (which can also be used to make oil; of course US also has a heckuvalotta coal, though much dirtier than the Canuck stuff).

Basically, Abdullah did it to appear "nice" on western PR. But:

  • Saudi still ruled by Salafi-and-monarchial chopfracks
  • Shias still in trouble after this if not in news

Not having an 'ally' be the main supporter of radical Islam is a helluva lot more vital than our need to drive big cars. We should be pushing for energy independence so we can tell them to piss off.

I agree. A foreign policy that serves economic interests while undermining our integrity is far more hazardous to our national security than a limited access to foreign oil.

I disagree. Another 40 years and we'll have sucked them dry. When there's no more oil left

in the Middle East, we can forget about them and leave them to rot in their Islamic cesspool of

terrorism, ignorance, poverty, and oppression.

Their oil profits combined with our cozy relationship with the Saudi monarchy is fueling the biggest perpetrators of global terrorism. We'd be far better off spending the next 40 years on achieving a sustainable future...no more dependency on foreign oil.

We can survive another 40 years of terrorism. Then it's "bah-bye, Muslims - you can go back now

to what you do best - making explosive belts and plotting the annihilation of the Western world."

Terrorism wasn't born in the ME, nor do they have the corner market on terror. It's just the soup de jour.

Maybe they didn't invent it, but they are pretty damn good at it!

Are you giving credit to Bin Laden for his successful attacks against the U.S.?

Of course. Should I be in denial? It was a VERY successful attack.
