What happened to the weed?

The dad probably started smoking it, realized it was cheap ######, then flushed it down the toilet.

"One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late." ~ Jack Handy

I was just making a point that the dad does this, saying that pot is terrible, but probably drinks with some regularity. Given that most people in the US drink, I feel like that's a safe judgement. It's parental hypocrisy. And I said drunk, because I make it a point to call people who drink drunks, like most people call anyone who smokes marijuana a pothead. I'm just keeping it real in here.

'keeping it real' my azz.....you jumped to stupid conclusions. A person who doesn't want their kid smoking pot isn't automatically a drinker and a person who drinks is not always a drunk. Jumping to conclusions like that (imo) are quite ignorant.

It's not parental hypocrisy to not live by the same rules you have for you kids....it's called age appropriate behavior. Parents don't need curfews or to stop having sex or to not drink at all....when the kid is old enough, the kid can make his/her own choices.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Well, if the dad doesn't want me to call him a drunk, he should put down the bottle of jimmy beam and get off the couch. Until then, I reserve the right to pass judgement. And if the dad wants to call me a drunk, he can go right for it.

I think this situation could be the subject of a new video game. The animated drunken dad, bottle of JD in one hand and cop baton in the other, would chase the precious little boy and delinquent friends around the yard as they try to avoid him and smoke at the same time. Points could be offered for sneaking a sip of JD while dad is distracted by one of the delinquents.

At the end of round 1, dad is in rehab and the kids are devouring cheetos and giggling like little girls.
