Traveling close to Conditional GC expiration concern

Hello all,

I was wondering whether you might offer some advice on my situation: my conditional GC is due to expire on April 26th 2008. I am planning a two week trip overseas, leaving on Dec 20th and returning January 5th to spend the holidays with my family back home, especially since my father hasn't been well at all as of late. Obviously, I cannot send in my application to remove conditions yet, as it is still too early to file, and still will be too early to file when I reenter the country. I'm sort of worried that reentering the country a little bit over a 100 days within the deadline might raise a red flag. What is your opinion? What can I do to protect myself? Or am I needlessly worrying? Thanks for your time you guys!
