Honeymoon ideas in the US

My fiance and I are awaiting an interview date for a K-1 Visa, and once he gets here and we get married we'd like to go on our honeymoon immediately after. I'd like to hear anybody else's honeymoon experiences (in the US only of course, can't leave the country on his visa ) and if they were good/bad or where you would recommend!

))) Well we went into the neighbouring state NH for 3 days...We mostly invested in an awesome honeymoon room...It had a sauna and a jacuzzi and we drank champaigne and relaxed..the best time

Road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway in California, from San Francisco to San Diego. That was fun! Not technically our honeymoon, but a fun trip. We also went to the South on another road trip. (I love road trips!)

We went the opposite direction; from Orange County up the coast to Arroyo Grande...we stayed at a very nice and cozy bed & breakfast. Our room was the only one on the third floor The place is run by a little Italian lady who reminded me of Carla from Cheers, except without the bad attitude and string of loser husbands Sweet lady and a great cook! We also went to Pismo Beach (great clam chowder), the hills above Morro Rock, Avila Beach (ate at a seafood restaurant on the end of a working pier) and Hearst Castle. We then drove across the Central Valley and then up to Bishop to see one of my groom's men and his wife for a bit, then on the way home we stopped at Red Rock Canyon. At one point on the way, an F-18 flew straight towards us just a few dozen feet or so above the road, then rolled away just as it passed to the side of us Made me glad it was one of ours

It was all very good, and I'd recommend any of it

well hawai is in the usa or jsut plan with each other when papers are finally done you will gosomewhere nice give you time to save up for a good trip

hawaii is great. there is also puerto rico and guam if u like tropical things.

We went to the Smokey Mountains, stayed in a cabin just outside Gatlinburg, TN.

Gatlinburg itself is horrible and like a tourist trap, but our cabin was beautiful, with a grill and hottub on the porch, and a full kitchen, and an amazing view. The national park was beautiful, and if you're into hiking then it's definitely one to consider.

We had a great time, and saved a lot of money by grilling or cooking every night... think we only ate out once.
