Hi Folks,

I have noticed that people who applied after me for the I130 are getting their approval. Somewhere on the bulletin board I saw that application sent with K3 get tagged to the K3 date for processing and not the receipt date but the date of notice.

I hope I'm wrong and the application gets adjudicated sometime soon. Is there a thread which is maintaining approvals for K3 with a tracking of the NOA1 for I129F?

anyways its turning out to be the worst painful wait at USCIS.

well best wishes to everyone for the season and may this new year bring joy and more cherised promises and fulfillment to everyone

We also waited a month to file the 129F, because of the receipt fiasco. From what I could tell, the CSC was tying the two together and our 129F/130 seemed to get approval with the 129F's that were filed about the same time. The K1 timelines were actually more helpful, when July K1's started getting approved it moved up to our date and both of our petitions seemed to follow their (the K1) approximate timeframes.

You CAN, after 180 days, contact them and they will at least look into it for you. Even my senator/reps office didnt really get involved until we were approaching 6 months.

That's what our case did, best of luck to you.

Regards,

David and Nitadyah

If your I129F and I130 get paired, it will be adjudicated by the I129F date. Which date they use is up in the air. Officially they have been saying that they will go by the received date to not penalize people for the receipting delay, but when ours were approved, they were still going by the NOA1 date.
