Hey guys!! Haven't posted in a while(I started a new job and unfortunately-I can't be on VJ all day anymore) I miss everyone :( Anyway-I thought that my man only had to send in the first 2 pages of ds-230(pt1)..........the way he is explaining the letter from the embassy, they want all 4 pages.

Does anyone know for sure? no offense to my gorgeous fiance but I think they only want pt 1 and not pt 2

what do you guys think? I guess it couldn't hurt if he sends in all 4 pages right?

It's likely that each Embassy has its own rules. In my case (Ankara, Turkey), they want Part I filled-out and sent in BEFORE the interview and Part II completed by the fiance DURING the interview. You should check your Embassy's website to be sure, of course. Good luck.

They only need part 1 (and 2 which is reverse of part 1) completed and returned with packet 3 - Im looking right at the checklist now.

I asked this same question cos its confusing - the DS230 is a 4 page (2 actual pages, 4 sides) form but they only send one page with packet 3 and thats all they ask returned.

That is what I thought  Pt 1(first two pages)

I think he sent in all four pages because he thought that is what they wanted. He never listens to me-he should because I am always right

:lol: my hubby always says that Colleen, "don't know why I argue with you because you are always right" Well aren't we women ALWAYS right

And I was under the impression that 2 pages went to NVC and the other two went to the embassy with you

I don't know much about K-1, but I agree with darstar. In my case, for instance, NVC (yes, I called them to ask this question) told me that I need to send in Parts 1 & 2 but not sign Part 2. I have to sign Part 2 during the interview. And the annoying thing is that their instructions on the letter they sent did not even mention Part 2.

Hi joyeann,

I don't know if this is truw for the K-1 visa. The instructions for the K-1 at Ankara did not say to fill out Part 2. Perhaps it is different for married couples????
