Yeah, I know. I'm also thinking that these must be wealthier families from these countries because those are HIGH food bills. I don't know anyone in Mexico that even makes that much money a week, let alone spends that much on food. And Poland is a poor country too. I know I don't spend that much here in the US either. Wow....

I wish they would have chosen another US family who doesn't make such poor choices in what they eat each week.

I think they tried to be representative of the US. I think they've accomplished that. Those that make healthy choices when it come to their diets are unfortunately not representative of the US as a whole. :no:

meh, you're prolly right on target there, but it's just unfortunate because that is nowhere near a representation of what I eat in a week. I'll hazard a guess that there's a growing 'eat healthy' movement, though.

I, too, think that is happening. Slowly. My family sure doesn't live on the kind of diet displayed in that picture. Hell, the fresh fruits and veggies shown there is probably less than what our daughter consumes in a week - and she's only 1 year and 3 months old. :blink:
