I SEE FROM TIME TO TIME WE GET SOMEONE THAT WILL SAY SOME OLE CRAZY STUFF ON A POST TRYING TO DESTROY OUR SPIRITS BECAUSE THEY HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A MAN. LORD HELP THEM RIGHT NOW!!!!!! ALL I'M SAYING IS THE GOLDEN RULE, IF YOU DON'T HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN SAY NOTHING. I JUST HAVE TO LET THE TRUTH BE THE LIGHT FOR A MINUTE. YOU KNOW WHAT IDOCARE, SOMETHINGS IN LIFE IS A GAMBLE....YOU MAY HAVE NOT KNOWN YOUR HUSBAND BUT I KNOW MINE AND HE IS AND AS BEEN ALL THAT I CAN EVER WANT AND EXPECT A "TRUE" MAN OF GOD TO BE. IM SORRY THAT YOUR EYES WERE BLIND TO THE FACT YOUR MAN DIDN'T REALLY WANT YOU OR YOU WERE JUST TO SILLY TO PICK UP ON THE VIBES. Some people feel the compulsion to bring others down because their own relationship did not turn out well. It is done supposedly as a warning

to others, however given the place and timing of those posts tells me otherwise. It is more like' I am not happy and so neither can' you kind of attitude. A bitterness that does not realize how destructive it can be to oneself so let me pee on your parade, let me burst your bubble, let me

pull you down so we can both sit together in misery and hate. Misery loves company. I tell you it can get very lonesome in that position.

We all know and understand the risks involved here and are mature enough to make our own decisions and take the consequences.

Please don't think you know so much more than we do.

It is really beating a dead horse to post over and over again about generalizations and stereotypical judgments, especially in a joyful topic during

a time of breakthrough for Sharee or a time when someone needs to be uplifted.

I get so tired of the same old negative issue and am apparently not the only one.

Get over it, you are not the first nor the last that had a bad relationship. Look beyond your vendetta and know you are not doing anyone a favor , neither do you give enlightenment by your revengeful style.

No one here is going to say oh ok so let me end my relationship because of your bad experience.

You won't discourage anyone from their happiness here, time to leave the crusade behind. It is getting ridiculous. Get yourself out of the past and

have courage for a bright future. I have validated your pain before but it is now time to move on to better things.

What may I ask is this post about.? I think a lot of VJ members who will read this will be in the dark as to whom you are referring to in this particular post. It sounds like it is personal and should be between you & that person in a private email.I think anytime religion gets involved in anything political, problems will occur. God says you will know my people because they will have love among themselves. The Bible also says God is not partial. He loves us all equally regardless of whether we are a little village girl in Africa or a privledged citizen of the United States. He is not a destroyer of one marriage in favor of another. If a man leaves a woman in another country that he is legally married to in the eyes of God & man, even if they just jumped over a broom, that marriage is binding in God's eyes and that man is guiltyof adultry and can be deported if the American Government ever finds out about it.

Also to type in all caps is considered shouting in the world of email. It is not the Christian way. It is certainly not "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". When questioned by Piliot, Jesus choose to remain silent. (It is golden)

I think any information we post that will help or keep another person from making the same mistake is excellent. All information is not meant to be encourageing but some information is meant to enlighten. others. It is better to learn from another's mistake that go through it yourself.

The truth is some people both men & women from countries all over the world marry just to get a visa. Please don't forget that is the reason some of us have been waiting not just for months but for years.

I agree. It's one things to say that you want to be "helpful" but when your post is hateful rather than helpful, you have to take a step back and review your real intentions. Sounds like a lot of justifying, which you don't need to do. There could be 1000 posts of sorrow about people duped from men from the UK, but not once would I internalize it about my relationship.

If VJ is such an encouraging place, then extend a hand of help to those hurting instead of callin them names....haterade works both ways!

MrsAkindle did not call anyone a name but referred to the repeated posting habits of some people as Haterade......toxic and unhelpful.

Lonelyforlagos this has nothing to do with religious or political issues. Again, if you don't understand then let it go. There are many in this forum that do.

There is a time to be silent and a time to speak I agree.....this topic was the time to speak.
