My hubby sent me a message at work about what he called an "interesting article" in our local newspaper. He then proceeded to find a similar article online so I could read it.

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

I agree . This made front page news in our local paper. The sad thing is many of the same people coming up here are from Central and South America, they have to go through Mexico first...

This is already widely known and has been reported on CNN Lou Dobbs Tonight. These little nuggets and others have prompted ethnic lobby groups to attempt to put pressure on CNN to kill his show. Not because it isn't true...but because they don't like this sort of thing being made public. It doesn't fit their agenda. His critics slander him habitually as a racist, xenophobe, and whatever else to discredit the show. If it wasn't for brave guys like Lou Dobbs and his popularity...this stuff would get buried in P.C. file 13. And if it wasn't for the rating of his show...this valuable info wouldn't see the light of day.

So much for freedom of speech or the right to hear all sides of an issue. BTW his show is a favorite of mine. It gives balance to the slanted pro-illegal local media here in Houston.
