My computer is officially dead. My battery is screwed and the power cord looks like it was chewed on by a small group of ants.....Now I have to decide if I'm gonna get a new battery/cord or suck it up and just buy the desktop I really want. If I hadn't just gotten a new washer/dryer for the up coming Christmas I would have asked Santa for the new computer... :)

So I have the kids computer that is .....well is mostly a toy.

Since I was here last I did receive my official Welcome to the United States letter and my Permanent Resident Card the same day. As for my girls.....they have RFE letters coming. I can't imagine what for...good grief.

Now I must go read and catch up on what has been happening here and there!!!

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

What kind of washer/dryer is santa getting for you? I like those fancy front-loading ones with all the stainless steel and pretty dials. Maytag Neptune? Samsung makes some cool looking units and how about the Kenmore HE3T. I'm sorry to hear about your computer. However, I understand Lloyd Braun sells computers. :lol:

We got a set of Kenmore from Sears. They were having a really awesome sale and the colour to pick was white. I really don't care about colour....just wanted something more efficient. We live on a farm and haul our own water....so the less I use for my wash the less I have to haul. My DH is redoing the entire laundry room for me....how romantic!!!

lmao....

I actually haul it in 450 gallon tank on the back of a truck. We don't have decent water here...its sandy (yes, in North Dakota we have sand) and is just high on the yuck factor. So we don't drink our tap water. In the spring and summer we use rain water only. My hair feels amazingly soft....!!

Rain water for hair is amazing. Well i'm glad you have a truck to haul your other water in :lol:

I am thoroughly jealous of your soft rainwater :( We have so-so hardwater, but for some reason this house doesn't have a softner...likely because it doesn't have a basement and therefore not a whole lot of room in the utility closet.
