My brother is a die hard snowboarder...he is getting kind of old and creaky, so I tell him...time he started joining me on the beach

Beach sounds good. I might as well be there, can't ski or surf any more

In the old days when I used to surf I would sometimes catch a walled wave and end up in the washing machine.....that didn't feel very good especially if I got bounced of the sea bed a few times.

I am a snowboarder !!!! I've even attempted fun boxes and rails and jumps!! Good times, but very scary!

Used to go all the time back home where it was affordable.. Looked into going last winter here in CT and it was 100$ per day for the rental and lift tickets.. YIKERS!! That's as bad as golf!

Going to keep looking around here in CT and find something affordable.

I sold my board and gear before I came down here though thinking hubby doesn't board and I'd probably never use them.. I'm going to SERIOUSLY miss my step in bindings.. Those were sweet...

I have only did the traditional downhill. I love it. My son is the snowboarder. He got his first gear this year for Christmas. He already knows there is not Santa so He got to pick it out. That stuff is not cheap. He has accepted that is all he will get for Christmas, but Of course there will be a little more for the surprise o the holiday.

I wonder if I even remember how to ski I used to ski every weekend and then when I went to college in Grand Junction would go up to Powder Horn on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Where did the time go

We went for Vermont, and also here close to NY, where is Camelback, but Vermont was something amazing. We went for Stowe mountain resort!!!!

We live near Stowe.

I find it gets too busy there (full of NYers ) and prefer to go to Bolton. Much quieter.

Resorts are gonna be packed this weekend as we've had so much snow and expecting another 12 inches tomorrow, way more on the mountains, of course!

I LOVE SNOWBOARDING!!!!! IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I've been to Lake Tahoe and Stratton in VT and I had a blast! I worked at a sky resort and that's when I started doing snowboard.

I ended up at the ER two days before new years Thank God nothing serious happened

I had a blast snowboarding....until a large family decided that they should take up an entire slope....then I separated my shoulder. I should have just steamrolled the dad. Everyone needs to learn that lesson one way or another.

I like snowboarding too but don't go much anymore since I had surgery on my knee. I live about 1 hr and 45 mins from Lake Tahoe. I will try to take my SO when she gets here.

I'd love to try, but I have balance issues. My retired ice skating performer/coach fiancée finally had the opportunity to teach me to skate last year.
