Congrats and the CR1 visa is the better visa out of the two. All the best in the future.

Hello all - just received an email from Montreal saying that our interview has been scheduled for January 17, 2008 for our CR-1! They decided to abandon our K3 and went the I-130 route instead! Sooooo happy!!!!!! have a great weekend everyone - I know we will : )

Thank you to everyone!!!!!!!!! best Christmas present EVER! : )

One quick question. How does one get an an email appointment notification from Montreal? Is this something you get through online USCIS case status?

Hi,

You don't get an email notification from Montreal - the original poster must have emailed Montreal to inquire about the date for the interview.

Once your case has left USCIS, the online status won't be updated anymore.
