hi. Im alex pretty new on the forum. I'm the fiancé of misskiya and I had some questions. :help:

I was reading a copy of the DS 2001 and it sais -immigrant visa on the top. but the k1 isn't immigrant right ? on the DS 2001 I ve read too that the fees for the visa are 325 $ and so far I don'tthink it's the fees for a K-1 so I was wondering if it was a mistake from the form or if it was my information who were wrong.

also my fiancée wanted to know if theemployment letter had to be notarized ?

hope have any awnsers . good luck to everyone on the process. (F)

don't know about most of those, but I do know the employment letter does NOT have to be notarized but it does have to be specific and on letterhead.

In my opinion getting things notarized will never HURT you

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Many forms are used for multiple visas so the DS2001 maybe similar. To file for K1 you file the I129f and later on the embassy gets involved and sends out various forms - where in this process are you? If you are at the consulate stage then you just need to follow their instructions in the packet (normally they send packet 3 followed by packet 4.) Good Luck

in fact Im still waiting for my Noa 2 but I wanted to take at all the forms on the packet 3 so I can fil them (not for real but for an exercise) with that when I receive the real packet I can fil the real paper and send it the day after héhé.

thanks a lot for the awnser and the clues. :)

Thanks for posting that love. But I need to know, I work for a small company and we have NO official letterhead. My boss wrote up a letter but it just has the name of the company in our official font at the top and his signature on the bottom. It's also not very in depth but I have a co-sponsor as well, so I hope that wont be a problem
