Clow posted this in the CR1/IR1 forum but I thought I would post it here in case some of you missed it there:

Hey Everyone,

I just recieved an email confirming our DS-3032....

I wanted to let everyone know that there was an additional note from the NVC on our email and here is what it said...

"...due to system limitations, the NVC will not be sending out any Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Bills until January 1, 2008."

Oh well, I have to wait till next year... it's cool.

Thanks!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone who will be celebrating the holidays enjoy themselves and that all of your wishes come true!

When I call the NVC the automated voice message says that the IV bill letter has been generated and will be sent soon. Does this mean that I will receive the IV bill or do I have to wait until January 2008?

Thanks!

I am now surprised by what NVC did today. I called the automated system today and it said they generated the IV Bill on Dec. 17. :o

This message from the NVC "...due to system limitations, the NVC will not be sending out any Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Bills until January 1, 2008." That's just wrong to say this to people, why are they doing this to people?

The NVC should confirm with a supervisor or higher up before sending messages like that!

Yes, they should, but will they, probably not. Got to laugh at this though! Anyway, that is good news clow!!
