Hi everyone. Our interview is next week on Wednesday. We were wondering what would be a good checklist to bring. So far I have gotten the following: A copy of original I-129F packet, copies of all the things sent for AOS including my (petitioner) passport, our joint bank accounts, evidence like photos, copies of biometric appointments & letters... anything else? We don't have much evidence like covered health insurance or anything yet. We've only been together in America for 5 months... Would these be a concern or anything else I'm missing? Thanks!

We live at our parents' home (same address as K1 & AOS) because I am still in college. We will bring copies of our parents' lease to the house as well as utilities in their name. Car insurance is under our family name and since she does not have her drivers license yet (only permit), we don't have her name yet. This is probably still okay? Thanks again.

My husband and I were in a similar situation but, we lived a apart. I lived with my parents since I was in college, and he worked 150 miles from me. I made sure to bring a letter from my dad stating that I lived with them, and that my husband visited me often. In your case you might want to add a letter from your parents saying you both live with them. I also brought copies of letters and cards we wrote to each other. You have a bank account which is good, because that was one of the things they asked us to provide. You should be prepared to explain when where and how you met. You should have copies of your marriage certificate also, just incase.

5 months is a long enough time to establish many things. The bank statements are good but might not be enough. If you guys rent are you both on the lease? Or do you guys own a home? Both names should be on the deed. Any credit cards? Even a Blockbuster video rental card would help.

We don't rent or own a home since the home is my parents. They're covering for our expenses pretty much. I have provided evidence for my parents house in their name including utilities and such. And I'll ask my parents to write a statement saying that we both live in their house. These five months I went to my college and my wife has been going to community college. For that proof, I will probably provide our school transcripts and ID cards. We don't own any credit cards, but we own debit cards linked to our bank account.

I would definitly bring school transcripts, and the tuition bills. How is your wife paying for her college? Are you paying for it? Are your parents? If you are then, you should be prepared to prove that, if your parents are have them write a statement that they are along with proof. Definitely be prepared, but don't forget to concentrate on you schoolwork, Finals should be soon right?!? Bring proof of anything and everything that you may have purchased together, or for each other. Did you get her an engagement ring, or any other jewelery?

I am working part time as well as my parents providing sufficient funds for BOTH of us. I was going to have them write a statement that says both my wife and I are living in their house with them providing economic means. We already had our finals already. My engagement ring, we had bought a year ago before we submitted her K1. However, we didn't buy anything else.

I wore my engagement ring to the interview and brought the receipt in my husbands name. My interview officer saw the ring, and asked my husband a few questions about it. He never asked for the reciept though.
