When I get my appointment for my biometrics do they pic the place to go or can I go to any of their locations?

I sent in my AOS Dec5 overnight and Im worried Im gonna move (jan13) before I get my biometrics.. Is it possible to go to another locations?

Id hate to have to fly all the way from TX to MD just for that.

07/03/2008 - Received Welcome Letter and Green Card in Mail.

Wow..that's a good question - the answer am sure is yes, but I'd think you need to schedule an INFO Pass appointment to let them know you're about to move (you can file a change of address online, but I believe you need your case number(s) to do so) so you'll receive your notices, etc. :thumbs:

Did this move come up suddenly? Your timeline says you just filed 8 days ago... :huh:

You must inform the USCIS Office that you are going to move. They will provide the date and place where you are going to have your biometric. I have a copy in my biometric appointment last april 4, 2007 and it says here......' PLEASE APPEAR AT THE BELOW APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED. IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED. I am just hoping you will receive your appointment before you move.

I wanted to file before my I-94 expired on the 17th.. god i hope i have it before i move.

mmm definitly call to USCIS, cause i woudnt think the appointment date, is going to come so soon, mine took a couple of weeks, but you have to realize that right now are the holidays. Anyway, i check my letter, and they specify the address where you needed to go. hope it helps

Yeah I will call on Wednesday if I haven't gotten the appointment letter and see if they can schedule it after the 13th in Dallas.. If i do get it and its after the 13th in baltimore can I reschedule that one to get it in Texas or will i have to fly back to Baltimore just for biometrics
