Well, we had the ultrasound today and .......

I'M HAVING A BOY!!!!!!

So my intuition was correct after all :) Although the chart that Eveline linked me to was wrong ... LOL!

congrats! :star: how exciting.. I wonder if the chart will be right about me.. I have to wait about two months to find out :wacko:

Hang in there ladies. I understand how you all feel 100%. When my estimated due date of Dec. 15th came and went I was ready to jump off the curb. Funny thing is that I was scheduled for Christmas Eve to be induced and my contractions started the night before that date. Gavin gave me a run for my money because being 9 days overdue was no fun at all :no:

ok so i mentioned the other day how my son is nearly 13 months and how i feel ready for baby number 2. I had some doubt as to if i was ready or not and if hubby was, well i guess i am most definalty ready, i thought i may be pregnant so i bought a test, one of those 4 days sooner tests, came up negative, i cant tell you how dissapointed i feel.... :crying:

Chrissy I did the same thing. I probably 'wasted' a good six tests cause I was hoping I was pregnant again knowing that I was still on birth control. Stupid I know and I was dissapointed after every negative test. Don't beat yourself up over it. You know you are fertile and maybe it was just not the right time or maybe you kinda 'missed' the egg. You never know. Just keep practising. HAve you ever though about charting your body temperature or - in my eyes the easiest way - just watch your cervical mucus. When it gets all slimy, whitish and really really really stringy that is when you ovulate and you can kinda plan your days according to that. you hit the nail on the head Eveline, i AM still on birth control butthe other week i zoned and forgot to take my pill a couple of times..i know that i basically got pregnant with Dylan as soon as i came off my pill...i think i may finish this months pill and then come off...

aaww that is great!!! a little boy!!! i went to that link and it said i was having a boy as well....then i went to another chart and said it was a girl....the last 2 ultra sounds both showed it was a girl....

aaww it will happen for you!!! Go on antibiotics then you will get preggo :lol: i thought it had cleared my system while on BC nope....just keep trying.... :devil:

With Adam we just said..."Ok, let's try it and see what happens" and with No2 now I really really really wanted to be pregnant again. I can totally see how people get so into making a baby that it doesn't work out in the end. It is crazy how fast you just get obsessed with cycles and tests and times etc...

@Chrissy: Don't worry. Finish up your pack of pills (if you want) and let your DH know that 'it's on' again :lol: . You'll get pregnant again in no time. Good luck and happy trying.

@insurance.. i wasnt insured in VA and thats the reason why D was born in germany.. we would have paid between 40 and 70K in VA cuz D was 3 days in the NICU!! i am SOOOOOO glad that i had him in germany and i know for sure that baby #2 will be born there too!! no matter what!!

My intuition was completely wrong, but I'm so very happy to be having a boy.

How do you feel about it all?

We're very excited. Hubby and I did not have a strong preference either way, it would change depending on the day. Hubby just happened to be in a "boy" mood on the day of the ultrasound (although would have been equally excited to have a girl, he says). I had been feeling that it was a boy so I guess there was a part of me anticipating that. It makes it feel so much more real to me now that I know the sex. Before, it was just "Baby It" .... now I can refer to him by name :)
