Well, I washed the cloth diapers. I rinsed it cold first and then had the hot white wash cycle. Everything came out spotless and clean. It doesn't smell which is a sign that there is no bacteria left in the diapers. I put some white vinegar in the 'fabric softener' compartment in the washer and it worked just fine. I guess I'm 100% back to cloth now.

Another doctor's appt. today...not much change. He's come down a little bit more, but I don't believe he's actually "dropped" yet.

Besides total exhaustion, I still feel pretty good. Maybe a little too good...

13 more days?

trust me on this, as I have seen it 24 years ago and 2.5 months ago. Our little girl was born one day early, yet the doc suggested 1 week later. Nature prevails.....

When you least expect labor, it will happen.

Due dates are suggestions. In reality, anything between 37 and 42 weeks is normal and term. That is quite a range for variance and annoyance with every passing day. :P

Yeah this is what my doc just told me. I am so confused last month he was talking like I would have a C-section and today he thinks vaginally will be ok because I haven't been sick. I am so confused .

Thanks for the diaper info. I am not going to try cloth diapers cause our washer isn't the best.

Neworleansbound- congrats on the little girl!!

I wouldn't be to worried if you don't feel the baby yet. It took awhile for me to feel her I say around my 27th week or so I noticed.

Question: Do you ladies know what the best nursing pads our? Should I get disposal, the one's with plastic lining around them or the washable ones? This is my next item on my list besides nursing bras. I will be going in a couple weeks to pick up bras at mothers maternity. Any other suggestions were to go for a good nursing bra. My size is plus size too 1x. From this week to last week I gained 5 pounds help. :P

Wow, it is really a race to the finish line here between several of our mommies .... wonder who will go first ... Tracy, KS, Nannygirl, Carshel??? (And sorry if I forgot anyone).

New Orleans Bound - congrats on the girl. I can understand your anxieties about the baby not kicking, and definitely talk to the doc, but please don't stress. I have my bouts of anxiety (still) over the baby not kicking or not kicking enough, but try to remind myself to stay calm. My placenta is in the front which cushions the kicks. There are lots of things it could be.

Okay guys, please cross your fingers for me that baby cooperates at the ultrasound on Friday. Stubborn baby didn't move at all at the 18 week ultrasound. I am dying to know the sex and also really interested in seeing if my intuition is right at all or is completely out of whack. I keep feeling like the baby is a boy and often refer to the baby as he instead of it, so we will see.

I have tried the Lansinoh disposable ones, Lansinoh washable cotton and Medela Disposables and I liked the Medela best because they are shaped to fit the breast better. With the Lansinoh disposables you always have folds that show under T-shirts, not so nice. I didn't like the Lansinoh washables cause I had a let down from hell and it would happen anywhere everywhere and I was soaked within minutes. Can you say embarassing. I never had problems iwth plugged milk ducts or so so I didn't care if it had plastic on the back or not. I will use disposables (Lansinoh or Medela) again with the next baby.

Has anyone heard from artegal? She must be about 22 weeks pregnant I think but hasn't written in this thread in forever. Maybe I should PM her.

My fingers are crossed. My intuition was right with both babies, then again, you only have a 50/50 chance of being wrong. Maybe you'll get your little boy, although this year is the year of girls, haha.

You can try this link http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/cal.html] just for fun. It was right with Adam but not right with No2. It was also right with my mom's babies (me and my brother), with DH mom, his sister and my friend. So it was right in six out of seven cases. Not that bad but as mentioned before...there's only a 50//50 chance of being wrong.

Eveline thank you so more for this information. I am going to try Medela then. I will get them when I see my doctor because the Target is so much bigger their.

Does anyone have a far drive to their doctor and hospital. I live 45 mins away. I am thinking the drive while I am going through contractions is going to be miserable. They better not send me home either. I just wish my health insurance would pay for the hospital down the street from me. Its like 1 minute away. I just received health insurance for hubby and baby will be on his plan. Saving us 300 bucks a month than being on my plan and they can stay in our town which is nice.

her heartbeat is normaly about 150-160 and one time she went up to 180-190....at that time though i was having a lot of back issues...and my back has gotten better so her heart rate has lowerd....i guess they want to make sure everything is ok..i have to drink 32 ounces of water and the whole u/s is going to take about a hour and i can't pee....i just don't know how i am going to do that....i pray everything will be ok....

Anna: As long as the docs are not concerned with your weight gain and baby measures right for it's gestational age, I wouldn't be worried about it. Just eat as it feels right to you (you know, all organic and skim milk  , no hotdogs or anything else you like, haha) and you should be fine. I never had problems gaining weight in my pregnancies but my friend gained a total of 9lbs and had a 7lbs baby (that was the girl who delivered within 30 minutes and was back to a size 2...argh...).

I just feel it's not right, but I'm sure under my mom's care starting next week I'll start to gain hehehe (of course all EU-organic, lol). I don't care too much about fitting in my size 2 again, but i take the 30 minute labor! Where can I order it? :P

Wow for the cloth diapers, I think it would freak me out, I'm too lazy! My mom always tells me the stories how they had no choice and had to use cloth diapers - they brought the washer to the vacation home at the Baltic Sea to clean the diapers!!!

I feel a constant pain in my belly, like soreness after doing too many sit-ups. Does that ever go away??? I think he/she is still on his/her head, I constantly have to run to the bathroom (every 2 hours)...

Good luck to all of you guys!
