June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

well, guys and gals, I am back but not with good news :(

when they were putting in the stitches the doctor noticed that I was already 2 or 3 cms dilated and the water bag was already bulging out... everything went fine though and after a few days I went to stay at my sis-in-law's house....

I was there for about a week.... then last Sunday (16th) , I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed a a big wet spot in my underwear... hubby rushed me to the hospital where they confirmed that it was amniotic fluid... so they admitted me right aways.... they put me on antibiotics to prevent infection.... and I was on complete bed rest.. I couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom.....

Then on Tuesday night the nurse was trying to listen for the baby's heartbeat but she was having a hard time finding it.... as this was going on I started shivering, which I sometimes do but it got worse and worse and my face started feeling like it was on fire... the nurse took my temperature and found that it was over 100 degrees, it actually went up to 104.6 degrees.... this was a sign of an infection....

they brought in an ultrasound machine and found out that there was no fetal heartbeat :crying: , my baby had died....

So they took my stitches out and my labour pains started almost immediately.. they gave me a shot and the pains subsided.... our little baby was born about 4 hours later.. it was a baby girl :crying:

I just got out of the hospital today.. they had found bacteria in my blood and were pumping me full of antibiotics....

I am feeling rather emotionally drained right now and really out of sorts.... :crying::wacko:

I am so sorry to hear this news, Marilyn. I, and many others here on VJ, have been checking in on you every day to see if you had posted any news.

I know words can hardly begin to suffice at this time of loss. I hope you will be able to heal with the help of your husband and family.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

11th august 2007 - Delivery Confirmation receipt received

17th september 2007 - Money Order (FINALLY!) cashed

9th november 2007 - NOA! (notification period given 180 days)

21th november 2007 - Biometrics appointment letter

18th december 2007 - Biometrics appointment in Baltimore, MD completed

29th march 2008 - FINALLY received letter with interview date!

8th may 2008 H 8:40 AM - Interview in Baltimore-APPROVED!

8th may 2008 H 3:00 pm (yes same day, crazy!) Oath Ceremony in Baltimore

24th may 2008 - US Passport application mailed off

6th june 2008 - US Passport received in the mail!!!
