ANything new from New Orleans Bound? I'm so exited to see whether they let her know the sex of the baby.

Hi Eveline.

I had the ultrasound today. I didn't find out the sex of the baby. He/she was curled up in a ball and the ultrasound technician had a hard time measuring the baby's extremities, but they're all there and account for. There's only one baby. But I just got bumped into the high risk pregnacy catergory. I'm leaking amniotic fluid and they're not sure why, so I go for more tests this week. As far as I could see on the ultrasound, the baby was fine. He/she wasn't moving around too much, more like they were sleeping and everytime the ultrasound probe tried to rouse the baby, they would curl into a ball more tightly. So that's all I have to report for now. I'm suppose to go for another ultrasound at the end of the week.

Just saw this post for the first time. My fiance and I are expecting our first together Aug 4th, 2008. This is his first baby, and I have a son who will be 4 in June. This baby is another boy!

I had the ultrasound today. I didn't find out the sex of the baby. I went to the doctor today and again he was called out for an emergency C-section ugh this is twice in a row. My hubby got to go with me this time to and was hoping to meet the doc. Such luck. He doesn't have school on Tuesday and I am on spring break. Oh well now I have to start going every week. I will have my ultra sound in 2 weeks. Hopefully I can get a Tuesday and hubby can go. If I can get a Tuesday I won't go to work either. I have enough days to blow one whole day. I just wanted to tell him today I decided on a C-section giving birth vaginal to me is to scary now after reading all the info online.

We went to Michaels and target to get decorations for the babies room. My HD and brother took the extra furtinure out of the room. 2 girlfriends of mine are coming over to decorate and help me put the baby furniture together. I am finally getting excited. I can't believe she will be here in a month. The nurse said it could be any day from now on. I think I have one more test the bacteria one and then I am done testing. Are there any more test after that?

Time to clean and decorate!!!

oh Jax....that stinks hubby couldn't meet the doc....i wish i was able to see my likkle baby one more time before birth...i really wish i would have gotten the 3d pics done...oh well...

yup the bacteria should be that last test....i have to get that done on thursday....fun times...

take pics of the nursery i'd love to see what it is going to look like!

BelwinMills - Good luck with decorating the room, it's amazing how much better you feel after it's all done. I wanna see pictures of it too so be sure to post some.

We had our US today and we know what it is and it is 400% for certain cause baby just spread its legs wide .

We had our US today and we know what it is and it is 400% for certain cause baby just spread its legs wide .

I gained 50 pounds, so far have lost 27. Still a long way to go. My pre-pregnancy clothes seem to belong to somebody else. I am eating really well now so I hope to be back in shape by the summer.

Mason had 2 month appointment and is doing really well.

I am glad to hear he is doing good. How did he do with his shots?

I did really good the first 7 months with weight, but the last month especially I gained a lot from swelling.

I gained around 37 lbs by the end...have dropped about 21 lbs of it, some was water weight and baby weight. Still have 16 lbs to go. But I am losing weight still so hopefully it won't take too long to get it off, but then I want to lose even more weight than what I was when I started my pregnancy. (I'm not a skinny girl that's why I'm saying it. hehe)

I think people shouldn't worry too much about weight gain during pregnancy, sometimes thinner people need to gain more so don't let the number scare you. The important thing is to try to be healthy for the baby and if your Dr isn't freaking out it's probably fine. Of course don't eat ice cream for every meal or else you will gain much more than you ever wanted hehe. I had lots of sweets over the holidays and I think that's what got me. But still I guess I didn't do too bad.
