My husband just called...sobbing...extremely regretful for what he's been doing to me and our unborn child. He realized that he really messed up. Most importantly, he finally realized how badly he's been hurting me and what effect that can have on our baby. I thought he would never come to his senses. Thank God he finally woke up.

I don't know how to thank all of you for your very encouraging, kind, and supportive words and prayers. I didn't expect Luis to grasp what he was doing until he actually came home, and I am beside myself with gratitude that his eyes were opened sooner. I actually almost believe now that he'll come home Friday like he promised.

Maybe I'll finally get some sleep tonight. All of you are Angels in my eyes. My son thanks you, too (L)

that is sssoo great!!!! i am glad too that he came to his senses!!! so happy for you!!! try to get some sleep...i think you deserve it!!! (L)

Hang in there, I know these next few weeks will be filled with a whole rainbow of emotions for you and I pray for you to have strength and peace in your heart :) I hope all is sorted out in time for both of you to enjoy the blessing of your little boy's birth.

Luis should be here Friday. He even sent my Mom a long email this morning apologizing and asking for forgiveness, reiterating how much he loves us and can't live without us. I know he's been going through a really hard time, but I wish he had a little more faith in his wife sometimes. We'll recover once he's back, and our family will be happy again, I'm certain.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning. Not surprisingly, my blood pressure was a bit high. And I've lost 3 pounds. BUT, my baby is growing...heart beat is strong. And he's been very active today, which always puts me on cloud 9. He's head down (and will hopefully stay that way), and my cervix is beginning to thin. This is all so exciting to me!

I've got appointments scheduled every week now :star:

You are all so very appreciated...

Tracy, I'm very happy for you. I bet you can't wait to see your DH again. Seems like Baby is getting ready to go too. There might still be a chance for it to turn but I doubt it. My cervix didn't thin until I got induced at 41 weeks. I was slammed shut on my due date so you're good to go....but not quite yet...just two more weeks or so

Hey ladies,

Any advice for soothing sciatica? I've been trying heating pads and stretches that the doc suggested, has helped a little, but the past day or so, it seems worse than normal. I have generally only experienced that lovely sharp pain down my leg when I am walking or standing, but today, I was sitting down with a client and all of a sudden, had shooting pains down my left leg. Apparently, I made a face (which I didn't even realize!) because my client was worried that I was going into labor :)

Baby has been kicking like crazy today, which I LOVE feeling. He or she is still so low, the kicks are coming just a little above my pubic area. My doc assures me the baby will move north at some point, but I am 7 months now and nothing happening. I guess I should be thankful that I am not getting kicked in the ribs! :)

while i haven;t had the sharp shooting pains yet...sometimes when i go to stand up and can't walk cause my leg is "frozen" and hurts...what i found that helps me is if i sit down and prop some pillows behind my back and put my legs up helps....

my little one kicks, punches and i think body slams me anywhere....sometimes it feels like she is flicking me with her fingers...

I remember this stabbing pain. It is pretty bad, you can hardly walk. But it does go away after the delivery.
