No...it's not time. I did feel some new pains last night and I thought it might be starting, but it was just a warm up. I got long sharp pains on the top of the tummy, which I have never had, but they came and went, came and went and then went away. I am back at work this morning. We are expecting snow here, so maybe that is when he will arrive ?

Here is a picture of me yesterday:

Thanks  I was making Stefano's favorite Ragu yesterday morning. If I have the energy, I am going to make pasticcio/lasagna tonight with the sauce. It is his mom's recipe, so it makes him happy for days when I make it.

I am planning on working until I go into labor or just can't take it anymore. I am having trouble concentrating and I am tired, but I can get a few things done. It is good to get out of the house, anyway. I would be so bored sitting at home. I just keep hoping that today is the day, and then I wake up the next day. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning, so we will see if I have made anymore progress.

You know, it is a 1/2 ITALIAN baby in there and Italians are never rushed and not as punctual as Americans, so not to worry. Stefano saw online a shirt "Made with Italian parts, Assembled in America" Too cute

Hey everyone! Hope you had a good weekend :)

I'm feeling the baby kick more and more ... I LOVE IT!!!! Hubby can't feel the baby yet and is really dying to, so I hope he can soon.

At what week were others (outside of the mommy) able to feel the baby kick?

And do other people here feel like they are losing their mind??? My memory is shot and I say stupid things more and more, especially at work! ARGH! Luckily, my clients are able to laugh it off, but I shudder at the thought of the day that doesn't happen. Last week, I meant to ask a client about a cruise she took, instead I asked about her "quiz" ... not so good to say to someone who suffers from test anxiety!!! She thought I was going to give her a quiz in session :(

That's hilarious

To answer, I recall feeling my baby really kicking at around 22 weeks. I would say less than 2 weeks later, my husband got his first good kick from our son. He cried...it was so sweet!

And my brain, too, is running at about half capacity

ONE DAY AT A TIME....

This topic might have beed discussed already.. What do you think about preventive vaccination? Is it worth giving shots to our babies? And is vaccination for kids free in US? (My son is 1 year old)

On another note. I have been breasfeeding for 1 year and 3 months. Now thinking about quiting.. Maybe too early? still doubting.. When did you quit breastfeeding?

I would say the preventive effect is worth it (do you really want to deal with an actual case of diphtheria, pertussis, measles, rubella, ... instead?).

Not free, unless you can actually prove yourself to be a malfeasant (illegal) immigrant.
