To stina and ace -- is the last month of pregnancy really as bad as everyone says? I know every pregnancy is different...just wondering what your experiences have been like.

It hasn't been as bad as I thought/heard it would be. I am achy, don't get me wrong, but I don't know if I am just blessed or something because I do not feel miserable. When I go to my Dr's office and see other women waiting, who are around the same weeks as me, some look absolutely miserable and can hardly walk while others are happy and fine. I hardly waddle at all and my mom said I walk really good compared to most of the pregnant people she sees. So I haven't had it so bad. What is driving me crazy now is just waiting to see the munchkin! The pain hasn't gotten extreme for me yet. I get bad heartburn and pain in my hips in bed, but besides that I am feeling pretty good still. I guess it really just matters person to person! I hope you have a better experience than all the horrible things you have heard. :)

I know everyone has different experiences, so I might just have had a blessed pregnancy which I am very thankful about.

Just thought I'd add other things that we not as bad as I thought they would be:

-The pregnancy as a whole, LOL, I expected to feel much worse.

-The glucose screening and the drink you have to have...I imagined it way worse than it was so it was no biggie at all when I finally had to drink it.

-The cervix checks...expected a lot of pain but only have felt pressure, no pain.

-Stripping of membranes...expected bad pain! But it didn't hurt...but I know it has hurt others.

-I expected to have horrible sleep by now, but I still get a pretty good amount of sleep somehow.

I should say though I haven't had to work during my pregnancy so that has helped me get as much rest as needed and not to feel stressed out...I can't imagine working full time especially later on in pregnancy. You girls are strong IMO!

Today might be the day...

I have been awake since 3:30am. Woke up to bad cramps and just thought I also had a stomach ache, went to the bathroom and TMI had

the bloody show and it has continued all morning with thick brown and pink mucous, just went to the bathroom and still a lot is coming out

. After going to the bathroom the first time I realized I didn't have a stomach ache but it was contractions and now they are about 8 mins apart for the past hour now. They were 10-11 mins apart earlier after I woke up. If today isn't the day, then it's really soon! If I don't post for a few days, you'll know why. ;)

Pray for me incase it's today! :)

Thank you Lord, for the privilege of having a new life within,

Thank you Lord, for Your son, who came to forgive our sins.

Bless this child I have inside,

And give me Your will, as my guide.

Give me Your wisdom, for this child I will raise,

That he or she will give You, honor and praise.

No matter what road this child may take,

Let he or she love You, never to forsake.

To you Lord our glory and praises we sing,

For you Lord are the Savior of all things.

And special prayers today for Christina and her son who is about to be born, that they remain safe.

Please watch over them on this special day.

Amen

ok, I had a really weird dream last night. The baby was born with 3 legs and I was so worried because I couldn't figure out how to put the diapers on and was worried that the cloth diapers might not work for a 3 legged baby Any others having weird dreams??? BTW...early in the pregnancy I had another 3 legged dream, but in this one the baby had 3 legs, but one was shriveled up and all black and the others were healthy. Hmmmm. Hormones

Ive had odd dreams too. One of the first was a few months ago and I dreamt I lost Mehdi. Lost as in misplaced in the airport. Ive heard other women say they have weird dreams before the baby's born, so its normal.

Update on my butterball: Went to doc this morning, per the sono his weight is an estimated 7 lbs 10oz, which puts him in the 85% percentile. He's head down, face down, but the starting gate hasnt opened, so Ill go back in another week. *Sigh* Im so ready.
